The Snug Project

Campaign

The Snug Project was a charity calendar and limited edition prints paying homage to the Irish pub snug. This project was led by Stills & Motion, a network of image makers and thinkers telling powerful stories through stills and motion. Stills & Motion was founded in 2019 by photographers and filmmakers Finn Richards and Simon Walsh. Together with creative consultant, Ciana March they have built a new kind of studio, one that’s centred on collaboration and creativity. I loved collaborating with them on this project.

Target

We wanted to get the word out about the calendar and shine a light on the charity partner ALONE – a national organisation that strives to enable older people to age at home, safely and securely, for as long as they wish.

Results

The Snug Project was featured in 8 print publications including Irish Times' hotlist, 21 online features, 2 radio features and 1 TV feature on Ireland AM on Virgin Media. Over 2000 calendars and 240 limited edition prints sold.

1420 online orders received and sent to over 23 countries, across 6 continents. Raising €22,816.85 in donations for ALONE. With 600 calendars donated to frontline workers.
